The new Asus ROG Phone 8 series has been designed to be more comfortable to use as a daily driver as well as a gaming phone. The phone comes in three versions (four, actually), though the differences are mostly cosmetic.

ROG Phone 8 measures 8.9mm and weighs 225g, compared to ROG Phone 7’s 10.3mm and 239g. Although the battery capacity is down by 500mAh, the optimized hardware allows for nearly the same battery life as last year’s model.

Design:

ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro are markedly different from their predecessors’ hardcore gaming phones. On the front, there is a punch-hole display, while on the back, there is a prominent camera module. Additionally, the back panel features an RGB-lit logo and gaming mottos. The ROG Phone 8 has a matte back, while the Pro variant has a glossy back.

On the left, there is a USB Type-C port for attaching the various kinds of accessories. On the right, we have got the power button with volume rockers.
