According to recent reports, there is no progress on a new smartphone. It is rumored that the brand will release the Nothing Phone (2a) soon. We expect it to be a toned-down version of the premium Phone (2). The pace of leaks suggests that the Phone (2a) is imminent, even though Nothing has confirmed its existence. A new development has revealed the configurations, colors, and pricing of the upcoming smartphone.

Roland Quandt shared the latest information on the Nothing Phone (2a) on X (formerly Twitter). It will come with RAM and storage configurations of 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256 GB. There will be two color options: White and Black. The base model of the Nothing Phone (2a) is expected to cost under EUR 400 (Rs.36,800/-).

There is a possibility that the Nothing Phone (2a) will have a 6.7-inch, 120Hz OLED display, the aforementioned Dimensity 7200 chipset, and 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (other memory variants may also be available). As with the Nothing Phone 2, there are two 50MP rear cameras, but a 16MP selfie camera. Furthermore, Nothing OS 2.5 and Android 14 appear to come pre-installed on the phone. Take some of these details with a grain of salt, though, since the phone’s About screen also lists 1,000 mAh worth of battery capacity.
