Samsung’s highly anticipated Galaxy S24 series, including the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra, is set to make its global debut on January 17, 2024, according to The Elec. The Elec cites an unnamed Samsung Electronics official as the source of this announcement, although it has not been confirmed by the tech giant on its channels.

The Elec report not only reveals the launch date but also preorder and sale details for the Galaxy S24. Following their launch on January 17, these cutting-edge smartphones will be available for pre-order. You can expect to receive your devices between January 26 and 30 if you place your order early. On January 30, the Galaxy S24 series will go on general sale.

Further, we can even expect the flagship Galaxy Book4 series may tag along with the new Galaxy S24 series.

Design:

In the photos shared by @SonnyDickson, all three Galaxy S24 models are visible – the S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. There are only three camera lenses protruding on the back of the two smaller models with flat sides and rounded corners.

Due to its rectangular design and two additional camera lenses on the back, the Galaxy S24 Ultra stands out. A CAD-based render of the device revealed its dimensions – 162.3 x 79.0 x 8.7mm, which are almost identical to the S23 Ultra. Although the Ultra will be flat (though it won’t be completely flat), none of the dummies were photographed from the front. Also, the weight should be the same.

According to renders of the Galaxy S24+, its dimensions will be 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.75mm, while another leak put the dimensions at 147.0 x 70.5 x 7.6mm. The S23+ and S23 are similar by about a millimeter. Samsung is rumored to switch from Armor Aluminum to titanium frames for the 2024 flagships. While the dummies are all painted white, we’ve already heard whispers of the four core colorways and a few more.

Having mentioned the displays, all three will be LTPO panels (finally, at last). Most of the changes will be concentrated on the Ultra model’s rear camera.
