AirFiber was officially launched in India a year after its announcement at the AGM 2022. At its 46 AGM in Mumbai, Mukesh Ambani hosted the company’s debut FWA service in India. 100 million Jio Fiber connections are made every month, according to Chairman Akash Ambani. As a result of Jio AirFiber, the company is expanding its addressable market to more than 200 million homes.
In an announcement, Mukesh Ambani announced the launch of Jio AirFiber on September 19. When Jio AirFiber launches commercially, interested buyers can book it on Jio.com. The device could also be available in Reliance stores when launched. In India, Jio AirFiber is expected to cost Rs 6,000.
Jio Smart Home:
In addition, Jio introduced Jio Smart Home services powered by JioFiber and Jio AirFiber. A new Jio router and Setup box are also included in Jio Smart Home.
Set-top boxes will offer TV channels, streaming content, large-screen games, digital apps and more through Jio. Jio Smart Home includes eRemote for Jio Set-Top Box. The smartphone can also be used as a gamepad this way.
In addition to Jio Photos, Jio Home smart automation offers security with home security cameras with alerts, live feed and more.
Jio Cloud PC:
In partnership with Google and HP, Jio also introduced Jio Cloud PC. As it does not require any upfront investments or upgrades, it’s a super-affordable way to enjoy a PC’s power in several areas, including Entertainment, Health, Education, Finance and more.
Before the launch of Jio AirFiber in September, details about Jio Smart Home services and Jio Cloud PC should be available.
