For the global market, the vanilla Asus ROG Phone 8 and the ROG Phone 8 Ultimate have the model number AI2401_A. Model number AI2401_C is said to represent Chinese or Indian versions of ROG Phone 8 and Ultimate models. The model number AI2401_E identifies the ROG Phone 8 Pro.

It is expected that the new gaming phones will launch sometime next year, probably in the first quarter. As with their predecessors, the ROG Phone 8 models are expected to feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship processor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
