In September 2023, Apple is expected to release the iPhone 15 series, which will likely once again set the standard for smartphone design. In the past few months, a number of leaks have surfaced regarding the eagerly anticipated devices. It is rumored that the new phones will be more expensive than their predecessors and that they will adopt the design language of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. With Foxconn starting trial production of the new iPhones in Zhengzhou, Apple, and Foxconn are further fueling leaks.

Soon after the iPhone 15 series is introduced, Apple is expected to start receiving orders. In its first few weeks, tens of millions of smartphones are expected to be sold. Apple has begun trial production of the iPhone 15 series at Foxconn’s Zhengzhou plant in China in order to meet this demand. Before the end of this month, mass production is expected to begin after the testing phase.

It is reported that Apple is targeting a stocking level of 85-90 million units for the iPhone 15 series. Most of those units are expected to be Pro models. The signing bonuses for new employees have been increased to meet the production and supply needs. The new series will also be supplied by Shenzhen Luxshare Precision in addition to Foxconn.
