A new member of the vivo X90 family will feature Dimensity 9200+ chipset. Chinese prolific leakster Digital Chat Station now has it on his radar after it appeared on the Google Play Console yesterday. In terms of hardware, the S version will be a pretty minor update, with only the chipset changing.

The vivo X90S is expected to come with a 3.35 GHz CPU and Wi-Fi 7 support thanks to MediaTek’s new SoC. There will be a 6.78″ OLED with curved edges and a 1260p resolution. BOE will once again manufacture the panel.

The leakster said the main camera would feature a 50MP Sony IMX866 sensor, similar to the current Vivo X90, in conjunction with the V2 ISP. As for charging speed, it will remain at 120W. With vivo X100 series, scheduled for November 2023, the move to Dimensity 9300 will be made.

On the X90, the battery capacity was 4,810 mAh. There is no word on whether vivo will repeat the vivo X60 and vivo X60s generation, with the S model having a larger battery.
