In February 2023, OnePlus introduced its OnePlus Ace 2, powered by the Snapdragon 8+ chipset and with sub-flagship specifications. According to recent leaks and rumors, OnePlus is currently working on a Pro version of the Ace 2.

According to @DigitalChatStation (on Weibo), some information has been revealed about the OnePlus Ace2 Pro. Based on the blogger’s statement, the upcoming model will have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, one of the best on the market.

It has 1+4+3 cores, which differs from previous-generation SoCs. This chipset was manufactured on TSMC’s 4nm process. It is equipped with the Cortex-X3 Ultra Core (clocked at 3.36GHz), the X70 5G modem, and the Adreno 740 GPU (clocked at 680MHz).

Furthermore, the OnePlus Ace2 Pro will feature an ultra-narrow display with curved edges and 1.5K resolution support. This domestic screen appears to have something new and is currently being tested by BOE (Chinese Display Manufacturing Company).

OnePlus Ace2 Pro is expected to have many of the same specifications as its standard model, including the camera and battery capacity.

It is currently expected that the OnePlus Ace2 Pro will be released between the 3rd and 4th quarters of 2023.
