This year, iQOO has some affordable and premium smartphones. With the iQOO Z7 and Z7x, even the affordable Z7 series has seen some upgrades. The iQOO Z7s 5G has been silently launched in India by iQOO. This is the second Z7-series phone released in the country after the Dimensity 920-powered iQOO Z7 5G, which was announced in March.

Design:

There’s no surprise that the handset looks like the standard iQOO Z7 with a big rectangular camera. On the display, there’s a punched-hole selfie camera and thick bezels. The phone weighs 172g and measures 158.91×73.53×7.80mm.

On the back, we got a rectangular camera module carrying dual cameras with LED flash. The power button with volume rockers is on the right.

Specs:

The iQOO Z7s features a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a water-drop design. There is a 90Hz refresh rate, a Full HD+ resolution, and a 1300-nits peak brightness. There is a 16MP front-facing camera on the device. An OIS-enabled 64MP ISOCELL GW3 main sensor is mounted on the back of the device. In addition to a 2MP depth camera with LED flash. There is a 16MP selfie shooter on the new iQOO Z7.

The device is powered by the SD695 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The battery supports 44W charging and has a capacity of 4500mAh. It’s dust and water-resistant with an IP54 rating.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE support, 5G Dual Mode (SA/NSA) support, Wifi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C port, and  Z-axis linear motor for 4D Game Vibration, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio certification.

The iQOO Z7s runs on Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 on top.

Pricing:

On the iQOO India website and Amazon, the iQOO Z7s 5G is already available for purchase. Priced at Rs 18,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively, are the 6GB + 128GB storage and the 8GB + 128GB storage variants. The color options are Norway Blue and Pacific Night. With bank offers on Amazon, it can be purchased for as low as Rs 17,499.
