iQOO will launch its Neo 8 series on May 23, including a Pro model for the first time. iQOO Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro rear panels have been leaked online recently. They both have rectangular cameras, with labels corresponding to their models. With an “OIS” branding, the Neo 8 Pro may be the only model with optical image stabilization. Neo 8 has a glossy green panel, while Pro has an orange tone with a leather finish.

Despite not featuring the latest imaging chip from their parent company, the iQOO Neo 8 phones will definitely benefit from the V1+ chip, which is also included in the Vivo X80. The V1+ is said to be able to take night shots in situations with less than 1 lux of ambient lighting. It comes with 32MB SRAM and 8GB/s data transfer speed. This software improves the brightness of images by 16% and the accuracy of white balance by 12%.

The iQOO also teased that the Neo 8 and Neo 8 Pro smartphones would feature a 144Hz refresh rate.

iQOO Neo 8 Pro is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset, which is an octa-core processor built on a 4nm manufacturing process. With a remarkable 1,363,206 points, this device has achieved the highest AnTuTu score of any Android device. It is rumored that the standard Neo 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
