The Vivo Pad 2 will be launched in China soon following the original Vivo Pad. As Vivo’s first tablet came out in April 2022, the timing seems right. The Vivo Pad 2 is expected to go official on April 20th alongside the Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip.

A rendering of the Vivo Pad 2’s rear panel can be seen above. A circular camera module houses two cameras and an LED flash. Pogo pins are also visible on the bottom of the rear panel for attaching the keyboard folio. There will be three color options for the upcoming tablet: grey, blue, and purple.

The Vivo Pad 2 has undergone some subtle changes, as you can see in the image above. On the rear camera module, there is no rectangular housing as on the predecessor. As a result of the change in tablet size, the placement of the pogo pins has also changed. In terms of size, the tablet measures 266×191.6×6.6mm and weighs 580 grams.

The Vivo Pad 2 will now sport 12.1 inches WQXGA IPS LCD 2.8K display. It will come with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and 144Hz refresh rate support. Further, the device will not get any fingerprint scanner support instead will come with Face Unlock feature.

The Vivo Pad 2 comes with Dimensity 9000 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB internal storage. It gets a 13MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture & 2MP macro sensor with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture.

The device also comes with dual stereo speakers one on the top and the other at the bottom of the device. It will also get Stylus support. The Vivo Pad 2 packs a 10,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It runs on Android 13 OS with OriginOS 3.0 on top.

The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6e, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
