The launch of Motorola’s Razr foldable phone was confirmed last week. A specific launch date has not yet been announced for the upcoming offering. It is also unclear what the foldable device’s moniker will be. Chen Jin, Lenovo’s General Manager of the Phone Business Department, has shared a teaser video of the Razr 2023 on Weibo.

Lenovo’s teaser video reveals the Motorola Razr’s back panel. According to the report, the foldable phone will indeed feature a large secondary horizontal display (possibly measuring 3.7 inches). With a 3-inch screen, it looks similar to the recently announced Vivo X Flip. Below the two camera sensors on the back panel, the Motorola Razr’s secondary display is located. On the right side of the foldable phone are the volume rockers and power buttons.

Lenovo’s executive also mentions the Motorola Razr’s large external screen and high refresh rate in the teaser. The high refresh rate remains to be seen if it is for the secondary display or the primary interior screen. The predecessor of the upcoming Razr had a 2.7-inch secondary display.

This is everything the official Motorola Razr teaser reveals. Several reports suggest that the foldable phone may be called the Razr+ 2023 or Razr 40 Ultra in certain markets. It is rumored to have a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC and 12GB RAM. The device is expected to be powered by a 3,640mAh battery that supports fast charging at 33W.

The Motorola Razr foldable phone could be unveiled in Madrid, Spain, on June 1.
