It has been reported that Vivo is working on a new tablet to replace the Vivo Pad, which came out in April 2022. It is reported by Digital Chat Station that the Vivo Pad 2 will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 chipset. It is the same chipset that will power the OnePlus Pad and the OPPO Pad 2 when they are released. At this time, there are no other specifications available.

This year, the Vivo Pad 2 is expected to be unveiled alongside the Vivo X Fold 2 and Vivo X Flip at an event in April. In the Vivo X Fold 2, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform is expected to be used, while in the Vivo X Flip, the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 will be used.

The Vivo Pad will now sport 11 inches WQXGA IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600p. It will come with HDR10, Dolby Vision, and 120Hz refresh rate support. Further, the device will not get any fingerprint scanner support instead will come with Face Unlock feature.

The Vivo Pad comes with SD870 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB internal storage. It gets a 13MP main sensor with an f/2.2 aperture & 8MP ultra-wide sensor with LED flash. There is an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture along with a 3D ToF sensor on the front.

The device also comes with dual stereo speakers one on the top and the other at the bottom of the device. It will also get Stylus support. The Vivo Pad packs an 8040 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. It runs on Android 11 OS with OriginOS HD on top.

The connectivity option includes Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6e, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
