OnePlus has launched the Ace 2V in China after days of teasing. It does not look like a toned-down Ace 2, despite its name. The Ace 2V has a different design. The specs make it a member of the Ace 2 family.

This is the first Ace V series smartphone from OnePlus. Whether the brand will continue to release successors is unknown. In July, the device will launch in global markets as OnePlus Nord 3.

Design:

OnePlus Ace 2V has a glass sandwich design with a flat frame. Due to this, it does not sport a curved display, like the OnePlus Ace and OnePlus 11. The Ace 2V’s frame is made of metal, unlike the Ace 2, which has a plastic frame. The camera layout is different. It weighs 191.5g and measures 8.15mm thick.

Specs:

The new OnePlus Ace 2V will sport a larger 6.74 inches 1.5K (2772 x 1240p) AMOLED display. It will sport a 120Hz refresh rate with a 10-bit screen & HDR10+ support. The device is now powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC coupled with 12GB/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage options.

The device will stick to a similar camera setup as the original with a 64MP main sensor coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide Sony IMX355 & 2MP monochrome sensor. It will support a 16MP selfie camera under the punch-hole display. It will pack a 5000 mAh battery and comes with faster 80W wired charging support. It also gets the popular alert slider back.

The device gets Dual SIM with 4G LTE and 5G support, A-GPS, GLONASS, GPS, Dual Band Wifi, USB Type-C Port, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, Linear Motor Vibrator. The OnePlus Ace 2V will run on Android 13 OS with OxygenOS 13 out of the box.

Pricing:
