Asus has announced the launch date for its upcoming ROG gaming smartphone – the ROG Phone 7. The ROG Phone 7 is Asus’ upcoming gaming smartphone. It has already been spotted on the Geekbench benchmark database that the ROG series smartphone will be available soon. According to the benchmark listing, the Asus ROG Phone 7 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

In a social media post, Asus ROG Phone 7 will make its debut in the Indian market on April 13. The Asus ROG Phone 7 will also be launched on the same day in Taipei, Berlin, and New York.

The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power all three devices. It is reported that the ROG Phone 7 features 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Asus’ ROG Phone 7 Ultimate, on the other hand, comes with 512GB of internal storage. All three phones will come with Android 13 out of the box. The phones will also feature AMOLED displays.

It is expected that the phones will offer a refresh rate of at least 165Hz. To keep the thermals under control, the phones will also have a cooling mechanism. Asus’ ROG Phone 7 series should also come with beefy batteries. The ROG Phone 6 series comes with a 6000mAh battery and 65W fast charging support. For the ROG Phone 7 series, the same can be expected.
