Several Acer laptops have been launched in India, retailing on Flipkart and Acer’s online store. Asus has unveiled a new gaming laptop called the Nitro, which will be the brand’s first dedicated gaming laptop. In India, the new Acer Nitro 5 (2023) is the first laptop to feature AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors. In addition, it has a GeForce RTX 3050 GPU and up to 32GB of RAM.
Specs:
This laptop comes with a 15.6-inch display with IPS technology from Acer. It has a QHD resolution, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a response time of 3ms. With a battery capacity of 57.5 Wh, the laptop offers up to 8 hours of battery life. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7000 series chipset. With 16 threads and a clock speed of 4.55GHz, the octa-core chipset is built on a 5nm process.
The Acer Nitro 5 (2023) laptop is equipped with a GDDR6 NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series GPU. There are also two DDR5 slots on the laptop that allow RAM to be expanded to 32GB as well as two M.2 PCIe SSD slots. To sustain peak performance, the laptop has dual fans, dual intakes, and four exhaust ports.
Additionally, the Acer Nitro 5 (2023) laptop features a 4-zone RGB keyboard, with WASD and arrow keys highlighted for easy visibility. Acer’s NitroSense utility app lets users control fan speeds, lighting, and more. The integrated GPU can be manually enabled or disabled using the MUX (Multiplexer) switch on the laptop. Using the DTS:X Ultra algorithm, the dual 2W speakers offer a 3D spatial soundscape.
The laptop from Acer is equipped with all the necessary ports for gamers. In addition to HDMI 2.1, the Acer Nitro 5 (2023) has two ports that support USB 3.2 and Gen1. With AMD FreeSync and Max-Q technology, gamers can experience games at peak performance. Wi-Fi 6E and Ethernet E2600 provide low latency gaming, uninterrupted HD videos, voice, and video chat.
Pricing:
The first laptop with AMD Ryzen 7 series chipset from Acer is priced at Rs 79,990. It comes in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD storage. Flipkart, the Acer E-store, and Acer exclusive stores will sell the product. Flipkart is offering an instant discount of Rs 3000 on the exchange.
