We expect Sony’s Xperia 10 V to replace the Xperia 10 IV mid-ranger at some point in the next few months. The Xperia 10 IV was announced in May and released in June. CAD-based renders of the upcoming model were leaked by a trusted source today.

In comparison to the 2022 model, the design is quite disappointing. The design language of the Xperia 10 V shown in these images is identical to the Xperia 10 IV, down to the size and shape of the camera island and the position of the LED flash.

Additionally, they share a strangely similar dimension, although not the same as each other. Xperia 10 V measures 153.3 x 68.4 x 8.5 mm, while Xperia 10 IV measures 153 x 67 x 8.3 mm. As a result, the new one has gained a slight amount of fat on all sides. There are no holes or waterdrop notches allowed in the 2023 model. It retains the 2015-era top and bottom bezels.

It is reportedly the first 10 series device to feature stereo speakers. The display is said to measure 6.1 inches diagonally, which is just a hair bigger than its predecessor’s 6″ panel.
