Oppo’s next major launch is expected to take place in China in February. Oppo Pad 2 and Find X6 will be unveiled at the event. Digital Chat Station shared some details about the Pad 2’s display, chipset, and battery earlier this week. The tipster has returned with some more information about the device.

In February 2022, the Oppo Pad debuted with a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. According to the new leak, the Oppo Pad 2’s front and rear cameras will have the same megapixel count as its predecessor. It is unclear, however, whether it will inherit the same camera sensors.

As a flagship tablet, the Oppo Pad 2 will have 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. It may come in lower configurations. ColorOS 13.1 will be preloaded on the tablet, according to the tipster. Specifically, it will likely run on tablet-optimized ColorOS 13.1 for Android 13.

Specs:

Oppo Pad 2 will come with an 11.x-inch screen. The Oppo Pad’s original display had a resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to the leak, the successor edition’s LCD panel will feature a higher resolution of 2800 x 2000 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. There will be support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+ on the device.

There will be a 9,500 mAh battery powering the Oppo Pad 2. This device is likely to support 67W fast charging. According to DCS, the Oppo Pad 2 will come with the Dimensity 9000 chipset. This device is expected to run the Android 13-based ColorOS for Pad OS.

It will look similar to the OnePlus Pad, which will launch on Feb. 7 in India. OnePlus Pad may end up being a rebranded Oppo Pad 2. For more details about Oppo’s next flagship tablet, it is advisable to wait for more reports.
