Dimensity 9000 chipset was announced by MediaTek in November 2021. Dimension 9000 Plus, its enhanced version, was unveiled in June. Digital Chat Station recently claimed that the Dimensity 9200 chipset would be announced in November. It is expected that the first phones powered by the Dimensity 9200 chip will be launched in China by the end of the year. According to speculation, the Vivo X90 series may feature the upcoming Dimensity 9200 SoC.

Vivo X90 series will be equipped with Dimensity 9200 chipset, according to WHY LAB. Earlier this year, Vivo launched the X80 Pro in China. The Dimensity 9000 chipset was available along with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It has been reported that the Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to launch in December with Snapdragon and Dimensity chips.

In November, Qualcomm is also expected to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chipset. Thus, the X90 Pro+ will likely arrive in the home market with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9200 chipsets.

According to rumors, the Vivo X90ro+ will feature an AMOLED LTPO display with Quad HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It’s likely that the screen will have a fingerprint scanner integrated into it.

There is a high probability that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 / Dimensity 9200 chip will be accompanied by LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It will ship with 5000 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 100W or 120W. Additionally, the device may support wireless charging up to 50W. On the back of the device will be a 1-inch camera sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto camera, and a 5x optical zoom. For optimized photography, the X90 Pro+ will also have the Vivo V2 ISP.
