Dimensity 9000 chipset was announced by MediaTek in November 2021. Dimension 9000 Plus, its enhanced version, was unveiled in June. Digital Chat Station recently claimed that the Dimensity 9200 chipset would be announced in November. It is expected that the first phones powered by the Dimensity 9200 chip will be launched in China by the end of the year. According to speculation, the Vivo X90 series may feature the upcoming Dimensity 9200 SoC.

Vivo X90 series will be equipped with Dimensity 9200 chipset, according to WHY LAB. Earlier this year, Vivo launched the X80 Pro in China. The Dimensity 9000 chipset was available along with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It has been reported that the Vivo X90 Pro+ is expected to launch in December with Snapdragon and Dimensity chips.

In November, Qualcomm is also expected to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship chipset. Thus, the X90 Pro+ will likely arrive in the home market with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and Dimensity 9200 chipsets.
