A bunch of details have been leaked about Oppo’s F21s Pro 5G ahead of its launch today in India. Here are some new renders showing both Starlight Black and Dawnlight Gold colorways of the upcoming phone.
Oppo F21s Pro 5G will reportedly feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, Snapdragon 695 SoC, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, and dual nano SIM slots. The rear of the camera has a 64 MP main camera with an f/1.7 aperture, and two additional 2 MP cameras.
A 16 MP selfie camera is on the front, and a 4,500 mAh battery supports 33W fast charging. Powered by Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 on top, the phone weighs 181g. According to reports, the F21s Pro 5G will cost around INR 23,000 to 24,000.
There’s no need to worry – the specs above describe the Oppo Reno8 Z to a tee. It seems that the Oppo F21s Pro 5G is nothing more than a rebranded Reno8 Z. But wait, the plot thickens!
This month, Oppo teased a member of the F21s Pro family with a “microlens camera”. Similar to the Reno7 4G, which also has a camera like the F21 Pro, the model shown looks a lot like the Reno7 4G. It’s unclear what differences the teased handset, the F21s Pro non-5G, will have from its predecessor, the F21 Pro. It looks like they have the same specs, but there will be some differences, even if they are minute. Watch this space for details when the official event takes place.
