According to reports, OPPO is working on the Find X6 series of flagship phones. It is expected that the lineup will consist of two models: the Find X6 and the Find X6 Pro. A number of new details about the Find X6 series’ display and chipset have emerged today.
Digital Chat Station reports that the Find X6 will feature a 1.5K display resolution, while the Find X6 Pro will offer a 2K screen. In previous reports, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset was reported to be used in the Find X6 series. According to another tip, the SD8G2 will be offered exclusively on the Pro model.
The vanilla model is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1. Except for OPPO, most mainstream Chinese smartphone manufacturers have launched flagship phones with SD8+G1 chips. The company appears to have reserved it for the Find X6.
The Snapdragon 888 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipsets were used in the Find X5 and Find X5 Pro, respectively. In December 2020, the X5 Pro debuted with a new chip, whereas the X5 featured a chip that debuted in December 2021. In other words, it would seem likely that OPPO will use the same approach with the Find X6 chipsets.
It is expected that several Chinese smartphone OEMs will offer flagship devices with a 1-inch camera sensor. There are rumors that the Find X6 series will also feature a 1-inch sensor. There is a good chance that it will be available on the Pro model. The Find X6 has not yet been launched. It is likely to debut in Q1 2023.
