Once again, Jio Phone 5G specifications have surfaced. Developer Kuba Wojciechowski provided images of the leaked firmware to 91mobiles. Since Jio is gearing up to launch 5G services in October, the launch of Jio Phone 5G in India seems imminent. According to a recent report, Jio Phone 5G will cost between Rs 8,000 and Rs 10,000 in India.

According to an earlier Android Central report, the Jio Phone 5G is almost certainly going to be powered by a Snapdragon 480 SoC and come with a 13MP camera. Furthermore, a boot animation shows that this upcoming phone will likely be marketed as Jio Phone True 5G. It is also known that the phone will be sold under the codename ‘Ganga’, with a model number of LS1654QB5, and is likely to launch in partnership with LYF.

As per the report, the new Jio Phone True 5G will sport 6.5 inches HD+ IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Sadly, the new Jio Phone True 5G will come with outdated SD480 SoC coupled with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and is likely to ship with 32GB internal storage.

This time the device is also shipping with Syntiant NDP115 always-on AI processor. There is a dual rear camera on the new Jio Phone True 5G. It features a 13MP main sensor along with a 2MP macro shooter with LED flash. The device ships with an 8MP selfie shooter.

The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 5G, 4G LTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 5.1, 3.5 mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It will pack a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charge support.

The new Jio Phone True 5G will run on a custom version of Android 12 OS out of the box. It comes with Google Mobile Services and a suite of Jio apps.
