Our attention is currently focused on the new ROG Phone 6D Ultimate scheduled to arrive on September 19. According to all reports, Asus will also release a vanilla version, which will be identical to the Ultimate but without memory options. A reputable industry source recently confirmed this once again on social media.

According to the post, the ROG Phone 6D is being referenced, or maybe both phones can be used interchangeably. It confirms that both phones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipsets, as Asus has already teased. Furthermore, both phones will feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with an expected refresh rate of 165Hz. There is also a Sony IMX 766 50MP main camera and a 6,000mAh battery with 65W charging support.
The new Dimensity ROG Phone 6D models will feature Asus’ best cooling solution yet, in addition to a swap from Qualcomm to MediaTek chipsets. As well as mentioning that, the leak praises the setup.
The new ROG Phone 6D phones are also expected to feature a massive overclock of the Cortex-X2 core inside the Dimensity 9000+ chipset. Probably because of its advanced thermal solution. We look forward to hearing more about that as well.
