A trio of new Motorola phones were announced at a big event in China earlier today. While the Razr 2022 received the most attention, the X30 Pro and S30 Pro bring more conventional designs with top-notch specs. After the long delay, the brand has finally launched its premium flagship Moto X30 Pro with a 200MP camera.

Moto X30 Pro:

Design:

Moto X30 Pro has a triple camera setup with an LED flash housed in a square camera island, as well as a Motorola logo on the back panel. It features a curved display with a punch-hole selfie camera in the centre. On the right side, there is a power button and a volume rocker. It measures 8.39mm thick and weighs 199g.

Specs:

The new Moto X30 Pro will sport 6.73 inches FHD+ pOLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate & HDR10+ support. It is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC which is codenamed Qualcomm Snapdragon SM8475 processor. It will be coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage space.

The Moto X30 Pro turns out to be the world’s first flagship to feature Samsung ISOCELL HP1 200MP main sensor with OIS coupled with a 50MP 117-degrees ultra-wide with f/2.2 aperture. Lastly, there’s the Sony IMX663 12MP telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom & LED flash. There is a whopping 60MP selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display. The device runs on Android 12 OS with MyUX on top.

The MotoX30 Pro packs a 4500 mAh battery with 125W wired & 50W wireless charging support. It also gets 10W reverse wireless charging support. The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Dual 5G support, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, and GPS. It arrives in two colours, Ink Black and Clear White.

Moto X30 Pro with 8GB+128GB cost 3699 Yuan (Rs.43,700/-), 12GB+256GB at 4199 Yuan (Rs.49,500/-) & 4499 Yuan (Rs.53,100/-) for 12GB+512GB.

Moto S30 Pro:

Design:

Moto S30 Pro looks identical to Moto X30 and comes with downgraded internals. It has a triple camera setup with an LED flash housed in a square camera island, as well as a Motorola logo on the back panel. It features a curved display with a punch-hole selfie camera in the centre. On the right side, there is a power button and a volume rocker. It measures 7.45mm thick and weighs 172g.

Specs:

The new Moto S30 Pro will sport 6.55 inches FHD+ OLED curved display with a 144Hz refresh rate & HDR10+ support. It is powered by Snapdragon 888+ SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB/512GB storage space.

 

The Moto S30 Pro comes with 50MP OV50A main sensor with 13MP ultra-wide sensor & 2MP depth cameras. There is a 32MP selfie shooter placed under the punch-hole display. The device runs on Android 12 OS with MyUX on top.

The Moto S30 Pro packs a 4400 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support. The connectivity options include an in-display fingerprint scanner, USB-C with DisplayPort 1.4 support, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, 5G support and GPS. It arrives in two colours, Ink Black and Clear White.
