Globally, Oppo introduced ColorOS 13 today. With Android 13, there are many visual changes, new AoD features, and improved cross-device collaboration. By the end of H1 2023, a total of 60 versions will have the OS, including Find X5 and Find X5 Pro.
In its Aquamorphic design, Oppo introduced more rounded corners to its interface and widgets. The icons look better, and ColorOS integrates Material You.
In addition, Oppo’s in-house OS now uses colour palettes from Android. Animations are also slightly different with a watery effect.
Always-on displays now feature Bitmojis and information about currently playing music. Currently, only Spotify and the built-in music app are supported by the latter widget. Moreover, Oppo provides insights into when and how much the phone was unlocked.
The Control centre also added playback control, as the panel naturally evolved beyond its primary function as a notification shade. Toggle buttons are aligned on the left, and notifications are aligned on the right.
ColorOS 13 offers improvements in privacy and security as well as functional changes. In chat screenshots, avatars and names are now automatically pixelated, which saves users time when sharing images of their conversations. With the Oppo Air tablet or any Windows laptop, you can collaborate across multiple screens.
ColorOS 13 update List:
Oppo has also revealed the list of devices receiving the ColorOS 13 update along with the timeline. Initially, the update will start rolling out right from this month for Oppo Find X5 & Find X5 Pro. In the month of Sept, two more devices will get the new update which includes Oppo Find X3 Pro, and Oppo Reno8 Pro.
In Oct, Oppo will start rolling out to Reno8 5G, Reno7 Pro 5G, Reno7 5G, Reno7, Reno6 5G. Not only this F21 Pro, K10 5G, A77 5G, A76 will also get the update in the same month. Later in Nov, the devices include Reno7 Z 5G, Reno6 Pro 5G, Reno6 Pro 5G Diwali Edition, Reno6 Z 5G, Reno5 Pro 5G, and Reno5 Pro. It will also roll out the update to F21 Pro 5G, F19 Pro+, K10, and A96.
The last part of this year in Dec will include Find X5 Lite 5G, Find X3 Neo 5G, Find X3 lite 5G, Find X2 Pro, OPPO Find X2 Pro Automobili Lamborghini Edition, Find X2. It will also add the following devices Reno8, Reno8 Z 5G, Reno5 5G, Reno5 Z 5G & A94 5G (Elsa), A74 5G.
The pending devices will get the update by 2023 H1 quarter which include Oppo Pad Air, Reno8 Lite 5G, Reno7 Lite 5G, Reno7 A, Reno6, Reno6 Lite, Reno5, Reno5 Marvel Edition, Reno5 F, Reno5 Lite, Reno5 A. The last set of devices includes F19 Pro, F19, F19s, A95, A94, A77, A74, A57, A57s, A55, A54 5G, A54s, A53s 5G, A16s.
