After the massive leak revealing almost everything about the new Asus Zenfone 9. We now got official confirmation from the company that reveals the launch details. Yes, Asus has finally announced the launch date for the next premium flagship Asus Zenfone 9.
As per the post, ASUS is all set to make a global launch again for the new Asus Zenfone 9 aka the compact flagship. The new Asus Zenfone 9 will land globally on July 28 in three regions Taipei, Berlin, and the US. Sadly, the company didn’t reveal any details about the new Asus Zenfone 9 apart from the image showing the front view.
Design:
As per the leaked video, the new ASUS Zenfone 9 will again come with a compact form factor similar to its predecessor. On the front, the new ASUS Zenfone 9 will sport a punch-hole notch placed on the top-left corner of the display. The power button which also doubles up as a fingerprint scanner along with volume rockers is on the right side.
On the top, we have got the 3.5 mm audio jack & USB Type-C port with speaker mesh on the bottom of the device. The back comes with a new design this year with a massive dual camera module taking almost 50% of the rear. There is an LED flash beside the camera with ASUS Zenfone branding on the bottom right corner.
Specs:
The new ASUS Zenfone 9 will sport 5.9 inches FHD+ Samsung E5 AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It is powered by the latest SD 8+ Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB/12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage.
The ASUS Zenfone 9 features dual rear cameras with a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor along with a six-axis gimbal module for video stabilization. The device comes with dual stereo speakers & IP68 rating making it dust and water-resistant. Lastly, the device packs 4300 mAh battery with no details about fast charging at the moment.
