Oppo is about to bring the 2022 first Reno series with the Oppo Reno8 series later next month in China. Ahead of the launch we already saw a few leaked renders showing the new Oppo Reno8 rearview featuring a OnePlus 10 Pro-like design. Now we have another image of the new Oppo Reno8 that shows the frontal look.
As per the source, the new Oppo Reno8 will come with a left-sided punch-hole notch display on the front with slimmer bezels. The frontal look is almost similar to its predecessor no change at all. Further, the image also shows the device is running some sort of benchmarking app that reveals the specs.
The new Oppo Reno8 will indeed be the first smartphone to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC. From the image, the SD 7 Gen 1 SoC will come with four Cortex A710 clocked at 2.36 GHz whereas the remaining four Cortex A510 at 1.80 GHz. It is coupled with SD888 powered GPU aka Adreno 662 GPU.
Further, the source also revealed that Oppo Reno8 will be shipping with an OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate support. It will feature a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor & supports 80W fast charging.
