Xiaomi India has finally confirmed that they will finally introduce the last year’s announced Xiaomi Pad 5 series to the Indian shore. After almost 8 months of the official launch, the new Xiaomi Pad 5 series is finally landing in India. Sadly, the company didn’t confirm whether both the Xiaomi Pad 5 & Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro will land in India at the moment.
As per the teaser, Xiaomi India has teased with an image mentioning Lets Tab which indirectly confirms the first tablet launch in the country. Xiaomi had launched the Mi Pad way back in 2014 and to date the company has not launched any tablet in India. Now finally Xiaomi confirmed the tablet launch through its teaser which will launch on April 1 at 12 PM.

The Xiaomi Pad 5 will sport the same 11inches 2.5K IPS LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and resolution of 2560 x 1600p. It also supports HDR10, 10bit and P3 color gamut. Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with stylus support with a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It also gets Dolby Vision with Eye Protection Mode.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by SD860 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage. The new Xiaomi Pad 5 features single rear cameras with LED flash respectively.
The Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with a single 13MP main sensor with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. The Xiaomi Pad 5 does support 4K video recording at 30fps. The Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0.
The connectivity option includes 5G (Dual-Mode support), A-GPS, GPS, GLONASS, Dual Band Wifi/Wifi 6e, IR Balster, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port. It runs on Android 11 with the latest MIUI 12.5 on top. The Xiaomi Pad 5 packs 8720 mAh with 33W fast charge support.
Lastly, the Xiaomi Pad 5 comes with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res support. The Xiaomi Pad 5 also gets support for Xiaomi Smart Pen that comes with a 4096 pressure-sensitive levels.
