After announcing the affordable WF-C500 TWS a few days ago, Sony has introduced the WF-1000XM4 in India today as the company’s flagship audio product. Introducing the Sony WF-1000XM4, the successor to the Sony WF-1000XM3. Globally, the brand debut its top-of-the-line TWS in June 2021.

Comparing the Sony WF-1000XM4 with its predecessor, the WF-1000XM3, the WF-1000XM4 delivers better audio quality and better active noise cancellation. The Sony V1 integrated processor powers these true wireless earbuds, and they also support the LDAC codec. ANC is available, as well as passive noise isolation. A beam-forming microphone and a bone-conduction sensor assure clear voice detection in noisy environments with the WF-1000XM4. The company also supports Sony’s DSEE Extreme and 360-degree audio.

The Sony WF-1000XM4 features a 6mm driver unit with a 20% increase in magnet volume and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless audio streaming. With ANC on, the TWS has a battery life of 8 hours, and 12 hours without ANC. Additionally, the case comes with three cycles of charging, so you can use it for 24 hours with ANC on and 32 hours without it. Five minutes of charging will provide an hour of use.

The TWS also features an IPX4 water resistance rating, Qi Wireless Charging, Sony App Support, Google Fast Pair, in-ear detection, Qi-wireless charging, and built-in Alexa.
