CES 2022 will see the introduction of the Dell XPS 13 Plus, Alienware m15 R7, and m17 R5 laptops. The Dell XPS 13 Plus features an Intel P-series processor and a 13.4-inch display. XPS 13 has been completely redesigned. Alienware m15 R7 and m17 R5 have AMD Ryzen processors instead.
Alienware m15 R7 & Alienware m17 R5:
In terms of its specifications, the Alienware m17 R5 boasts a 17.3-inch UHD display. There is a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nit brightness, and a 100% sRGB color gamut on the display panel. It comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 6980HX processor, which you can use with either an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, or an AMD Radeon RX 6850M XT 12GB GPU. A 97Whr battery is included with the laptop.
As for connectivity, this laptop has a USB Type-C port, 15W Power Delivery, DisplayPort 1.4, three USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, an RJ-45 port, and a global headset jack.
The Alienware m15 R7 comes with a 15-inch display, and it supports GeForce RTX 30-series GPUs. Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos are both built into these laptops. Dell has announced the specifications of the Dell m17 R5, however, the company has yet to reveal the details of the Dell m15 R7. The Alienware m15 R7 will cost USD 1499 (roughly Rs 1,11,616). The Alienware m17 R5 will retail for USD 1599 (roughly Rs 1,19,062) in the U.S.
Dell XPS 13 Plus:
The Dell XPS 13 Plus, a new laptop with a haptic touchpad, appears to be a redesigned version of the XPS 13. It is powered by an Intel P-series processor, has larger keys, and a 720p webcam. The laptop features a 13.4-inch 16:10 display with a resolution of 3,456*2,160 pixels. Color options include Platinum and Graphite. USD 1,199 (roughly Rs 89,300) is the price of this new laptop. It will go on sale in spring.
