The Huawei Watch Fit has launched over a year ago, with a unique appearance and impressive fitness tracking capabilities. Since its debut, other manufacturers have adopted a similar design for fitness trackers. The Huawei Watch Fit New was unveiled today as a new edition of the wearable.
To differentiate a product from an earlier model, adding “New” seems unusual. With the Huawei Watch Fit and the Huawei Watch Fit New, the year suffix is a much better method to tell them apart.
In the same 1.64-inch 280 x 456 AMOLED display, the Huawei Watch Fit New. Physically, there are no changes save for the new colors. It also has 300 dials to select from.
Their characteristics vary significantly. With 97 sports modes, the Huawei Watch Fit New beats the 2020 edition. Jump rope is the new sport mode, which isn’t accessible out of the box but will be through OTA update.
Features from last year’s model include animated exercises, automated swimming style recognition (SWOLF score), and more. The Huawei Watch Fit New monitors 24/7 heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, menstrual cycle, and stress. It can also manage compatible smart home appliances and receive phone and app notifications.
The Huawei Watch Fit New will cost the same as its predecessor, 799 Yuan (Rs.9,200/-). Pink Cherry, Island Blue, and Obsidian Black are the colors offered.
