After spotting the new Galaxy A42 5G on the various listing has finally hit the popular Geekbench. Previously we got to know the battery details along with storage variants. Now with the latest leaks will get to know more about the Galaxy A42 5G internals.
As per the listing, the new Galaxy A42 5G comes with model number SM-A426B which is running on Android 10 OS. The new Galaxy A42 5G is using the Lito processor which is nothing but SD765G SoC coupled with 4GB RAM. The device managed to secure 615 under single-core and 1799 under multi-core test.
Looks like we finally got competitor to OnePlus Nord with the new Galaxy A42 5G which might be priced lower than expected. Further investigation revealed that the alleged Lito is using Adreno 619 GPU instead of 620. This confirms that Galaxy A42 5G will use SD690 SoC instead of SD765G as it comes with Adreno 619L GPU. Anyway, the Galaxy A42 5G will land by early 2021 and not sooner than that.
