Nokia might soon launch another smartphone with Nokia 2.1 Plus. Earlier Nokia launched the Nokia 3.1 Plus in India which arrived with 18:9 aspect ratio display. Now Nokia might be working on the cheaper smartphone with Nokia 2.1 Plus.
Recently a new Nokia device with the model number Nokia TA-1136 was spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification which revealed that the device was certified with Bluetooth 5.0. Now the same device with Nokia TA-1136 has just received the FCC certification in the US. As per the source, the new Nokia TA-1136 might be the alleged Nokia 2.1 Plus.
As per the FCC documents, the alleged Nokia 2.1 Plus will ship with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage whereas the predecessor with Nokia 2.1 arrived with just 8GB internal memory. Further, the FCC listing also reveals that the new Nokia TA-1136 supports only 2.4 GHz Wifi bands which confirms that it is a budget device and might be the Nokia 2.1 Plus.
