Asus seems to be working on the successor for the most popular mid-range smartphone Asus Zenfone Max M1 & Zenfone Max M1 Pro with Asus Zenfone Max (M2) and Zenfone Max Pro (M2). With selling almost 1 million units of the Asus Zenfone Max M1 Pro in India we almost have the successor coming soon.
As per the source, the Asus Zenfone Max (M2) and Zenfone Max Pro (M2) were listed on EEC certification in Russia. The listing confirmed the name of the successor as Asus Zenfone Max (M2) and Zenfone Max Pro (M2). Both the devices are running on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Sadly, no Android 9 Pie but we can expect both the device might ship with the latest version of Android.
The new Asus Zenfone Max (M2) comes with the model number ZB633KL whereas the Asus Zenfone Max (M2) Pro is listed as ZB631KL. Apart from this, nothing much about the device has been leaked. We can expect the Asus Zenfone Max (M2) and Zenfone Max Pro (M2) to ship with the latest Qualcomm chipset and might also arrive with display notch along with the huge battery.
