After announcing the MIUI 10 along with Mi 8 series in China we saw Xiaomi pushing the updates to few of the China-specific devices first. Earlier Xiaomi had provided the new MIUI 10 update to the recently launched Redmi Y2. Now Xiaomi is pushing the new MIUI 10 update to the Indis’s most popular smartphone Redmi Note 5 Pro.
As per the source, few users in India just got the OTA update on Redmi Note 5 Pro which is none other than MIUI 10 update. The new update weighs around 580MB in size and comes as MIUI 10.0.1.0.OEIMIFH.
Currently, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is running on Android Oreo out of the box with this update we have the latest skin on top with few additional features. The new MIUI 10 update will bring the Full-screen gestures, all new Volume sliders and notification panel, natural sound system etc.
As it is OTA update it will take time to hit your device and if you need the update right now one can download the OTA update from the link and flash it under the Recovery mode. Currently, the MIUI 10 update is hitting the Redmi Note 5 Pro users only in India and will be expanded to other countries soon.
