Huwaei sub-brand Honor is well known for its price to performance smartphones is now providing new OTA update for the mid-range smartphone Honor 7X.
After updating the Honor 7X to Android Oreo we now have a new update hitting the device which weighs just 110MB in size. The new update will bring the August Security Patch and some minor bug fixes. Earlier the Honor 7X was stuck with June 2018 security patch and we are in Sept now and Honor is providing the August security patch for the Honor 7X.
Anyway, unlike Xiaomi who barely update their devices Honor is supporting some older devices with back to back OTA update which enhances the performance and also provides bi-monthly Android security updates.
