Nokia has earlier confirmed that all its devices will receive the latest Android 9 Pie in coming months. Nokia had also launched the latest beta update of Android 9 Pie for the Nokia 7 Plus. Now at the launch event of Nokia 6.1 Plus in India, Nokia CFO confirms the Android 9 Pie update schedule for the Nokia 7 Plus.
Nokia CFO Juho Sarvikas announced that Nokia 7 Plus is the first SD660 SoC to receive the new Android 9 Pie update by September. After pushing the Android 9 Pie for Nokia 7 Plus other devices to follow with Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco.
Anyway, Nokia has promised that all the devices will get the Android 9 Pie later this year but we can expect the newly launched devices will be the first to receive the update.
