LG is all set to launch the successor to LG V35 ThinQ with LG V40 ThinQ later this year. Earlier we had few rumors about LG working on triple camera smartphone. Now we finally have the first renders of the LG’s first triple camera setup with LG V40.
As per the source, the new LG V40 ThinQ will feature LG G7 ThinQ like display notch at the front which carries Dual Selfie camera or probably 3D Face unlock sensor with an earpiece. The Notch is hidden with the help of software which was even present with LG G7 ThinQ. There is an almost thinner bezel on the chin portion of the display. On the right, we have the Power key and Volume Rocker with an additional key on the left of the device.
On the rear, we have horizontally aligned triple camera setup with LED flash which looks weird. Below the cameras, we have the fingerprint scanner. At the bottom of the device, there is USB Type-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack along with the speaker mesh.
As per ETNews report, LG V40 ThinQ to skip the IFA Berlin event and will be launched on October 10 or first week of October. As per the report, the LG V40 comes in two variants and is codenamed as Phoenix and Falcon. There are rumors about the Falcon is none other than Google Pixel 3 XL.
Anyway, the report also reveals that LG is also busy working on the first 5G smartphone which is scheduled to launch by the first half of 2019. There are also rumors about LG V45 ThinQ might arrive with 5G support.
