LG has finally launched its 2018 flagship the LG G7+ ThinQ in India. The new LG G7+ ThinQ is priced at Rs.39,990/- which is lower than the predecessor. So LG is giving tough competition to the OnePlus 6, Zenfone 5Z and Vivo NEX series with its competitive pricing. The LG G7+ ThinQ will go on sale from 10 Aug exclusively via Flipkart’s The Big Freedom sale.
The new LG G7+ ThinQ will come in Black and Platinum colors. The launch offers include No Cost EMI, and Extra 5% off with Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card.
The new LG G7+ ThinQ comes with all new bezel-less design this time which also carries iPhone X like notch display. It is made out of glass and metal similar to the predecessor. The device also comes with MIL-STD 810G rating which makes the device evaluate the performance of equipment in harsh environments.
The LG G7+ ThinQ sports 6.1 inches QHD+ 19.5:9 FullVision Super Bright Display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 (3120 x 1440), 1,000 nits, displaying 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top front as well as back.It weighs 162 grams and is 7.9 mm thick.
The LG G7+ ThinQ is powered by the latest SD845 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM with 128GB storage option which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 2TB. It features Dual 16MP camera on the back with one of them act as Super Wide Angle lens.
It features a 16MP Super Wide Angle sensor with an aperture of f/1.9 and 107-degree wide angle lens and standard 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/1.6 having an angle of 71-degrees with Dual tone dual LED flash. There is 8MP selfie camera with an aperture of f/1.9 and is having 80-degrees wide lens. It also comes with AI CAM which offers 19 shooting modes, up from eight, for even more intelligence-optimized shots. It also comes with Live Photo mode which records the one second before and after the shutter is pressed and also comes with AR-based sticker similar to Animoji. It will be the first third-party smartphone to deliver with Google Lens features.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual-band wifi, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, FM Radio, USB Type-C Port, 3.5 mm audio jack with 32-bit advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox speaker, rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and dedicated Google Assistant button.
All this is fueled by lower 3000 mAh battery with Wireless charging and QC 3.0 fast charging support. It runs on Android 8.0 with LG custom skin LG UX on top. The new LG G7+ ThinQ also comes with Super Far-Field Voice Recognition with a highly sensitive microphone, the Google Assistant can recognize voice commands from up to five meters away. It also comes with DTS:X 3D Surround Sound and is having an IP68 rating which makes the device dust and water resistant.
