LG is on roll after announcing the LG Q7 we now have another smartphone specifically under the budget segment with LG Candy. The new LG Candy is priced at Rs.6999/- and gives direct competition to Samsung Galaxy J2 Core which is priced at Rs.6200/-. The LG Candy will go on sale across all leading offline retail outlets in India from Sept 1.

The LG Candy comes with a polycarbonate back and will be available in multiple colours as it comes with a removable back cover. The device will be available in Black colour and one can change it to blue, gold and silver back covers. It weighs 152 grams and is 8.2 mm thick.

The new LG Candy sports 5.0 inches HD IPS display with an aspect ratio 16:9. The LG Candy is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card.

The LG Candy features 8MP rear camera along with 5MP selfie shooter. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2, A-GPS, micro USB port, FM Radio and 3.5 mm audio jack. All this is fueled by 2500 mAh battery and runs on outdated Android 7.1.2 with LG skin on top.
