Earlier we had got the expected Plans that Jio might offer for its users under new Jio GigaFiber. Jio has just begun the pre-registration for the Jio GigaFiber Broadband service across India from last week. But has not yet revealed the plans nor the tariff for the service.
Anyway, the new Jio GigaFiber service will be given to regions where most of the users had shown interest. As per the reports, Reliance Jio will provide Preview offer for the new Jio GigaFiber Broadband which will offer free unlimited 4G data and calls just to test the service.
Under the new Jio GigaFiber Preview offer, users will get free 100GB data up to 100Mbps of download and upload speeds every month. The Preview offer is valid for 3 months. If the user completes the FUP then there are packs which will provide extra 40GB data for free but not sure how many times one can get the 40GB packs per month.
That’s not all after FUP speeds will come down to 10Mbps with unlimited data that is not bad at all. As per the report. users can use free data up to 1.1 TB per month. Probably the service is free but you need to pay for the Jio ONT Device and installation which will cost Rs.4500/- per user.
The Rs.4500/- is 100% refundable once the user is not happy with the service only on giving back the ONT device under working condition. Jio will also offer free services like Jio GigaTV, and Jio SmartHome along with Jio premium apps to users.
