Sony is well known for its better regular Android OS updates to all its flagship and mid-range lineup after Nokia. Earlier this week Google launched the stable version of Android 9 Pie and had also partnered with Sony.
Now Sony has announced that six Sony devices will get the new Android 9 Pie update by next month. The devices include the Sony Xperia XZ1, Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Sony Xperia XZ2, Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium and Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact.
As per the Sony, the above devices will receive the OTA update starting from Sept 2018 to Nov 2018. The new Google Android 9 Pie takes lesser time to launch the apps, and also support the display notch.
