Sony Xperia XA2

With dipping sales forced Sony to close their mobile business in some countries and now we have spotted a new mid-range smartphone passing through the FCC certification.

As per the FCC listing, the unknown Sony smartphone doesn’t even have the model number at the moment but we got the FCC registration ID with PY7-04606A. The listing further reveals that the device will come with NFC which we often find on any of the Sony mid-rangers and even on the flagship devices.

The listing further mentions the device is compatible with GSM and LTE bands and also comes with Bluetooth and Dual Band Wifi under connectivity options. It also features microSD card slot but we are not sure whether it is dedicated slot or hybrid SIM solution. The device will support Dual SIM functionality and is fueled by larger 3850 mAh battery with a model number LIP1653ERPC.

Apart from this, nothing much about the device is leaked at the time of writing this article. We are still not sure whether the new smartphone is mid-ranger or flagship smartphone.
