Earlier this month Reliance Jio had announced the exchange offer for its feature phone JioPhone at Annual AGM meet. The offer was called as Jio Monsoon offer which was nothing but an exchange offer where one can get the JioPhone for just Rs.501 which is refundable over the actual price of Rs.1500/- and was scheduled to live from July 21.
Now Jio has shared how one can exchange the old feature phone for the new JioPhone at Rs.501. As per Jio, one should have any (2G/3G/4G) good condition working phone without broken parts. The phone along with the charger must be handed over to the retailer for new JioPhone. The phone must not be older than 1 Jan 2015 and must be sold in last 3.5 years. Jio will not accept either old JioPhone or any carrier locked CDMA phone for the exchange offer. Apart from phone along with battery and charger, there is no need to provide the other accessory like earphones.
With that, Jio has also combined the Jio Monsoon offer along with JioPhone to provide recharge plan of Rs.594/- that offers unlimited calls along with 90GB 4G data with the limit of 500MB/day. The plan has validity for 6 months. If recharged with this plan user will also get additional 6GB of 4G data as a complimentary voucher worth Rs.101.
Jio has also launched another plan with Rs.99 that offers 4G data with the limit of 500MB/day and 300 SMS/day with a validity of 28 days. The new Jio Monsoon offer will go live from today.
