Xiaomi will launch the new Xiaomi Mi 8 on 31 May as per the teaser shared on social media. As per the image, we can see the huge number 8 with and confirms that Mi 8 will be launching on 31 May in Shenzen China. So probably Xiaomi will skip the Mi 7 in favor of 8the anniversary celebration with Mi 8.

Apart from that, we also got the images from presentation leaked showing some of the key specs of the upcoming Mi 8. As per the leaks, the upcoming Mi 8 will sport 6.01 inches bezel-less OLED display with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Mi 8 will be powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage options as per the source. It will feature AI camera similar to one we saw on Mi Mix 2S. It will also come with 3D facial recognition tech similar to one found on iPhone X.

As per the source, the Mi 8 with 6GB RAM will cost 2799 Yuan (Rs.30,000/-) whereas the 8GB RAM at 3199 Yuan (Rs.34,200/-) which comparatively lower than the OnePlus 6 which lacks major features like in-display fingerprint and 3D Dept sensor.
