Oppo finally launches its latest premium smartphone with Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition in China today.The Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition are up for pre-orders in China and will go on sale from April 1.The Oppo R15 will come in Snow White, Hot Red and Star Purple colours and is priced at 2999 Yuan (Rs.31,000/-) whereas the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition Red colour is priced at 3299 Yuan (Rs.33,900/-) and Oppo R15 Ceramic version is priced at 3499 Yuan (Rs.36,000/-).
Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition both have the same design and looks similar the only difference is with the processor being used and the Dream Edition will have Ceramic back when compared with a standard variant which will have Glass back.
The Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition weighs 175 grams and is 7.4 mm thick.The Oppo R15 comes with metal and glass design whereas the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition comes with the ceramic back.
Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition sports same 6.28 inches FHD+ OLED display with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and having a resolution of 2280*1080p.The Oppo R15 is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 SoC clocked at 2.6GHz whereas the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition is powered by SD660 SoC. Both the devices are coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage which can be expanded via microSD cards up to 256GB.
The Oppo R15 and Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition come with 20MP selfie camera with an aperture of 20MP.The Oppo R15 features the Sony IMX519 16MP primary sensor and 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7+f/2.2, EIS and 1.22μm pixel size whereas the Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition carries Sony IMX519 16MP primary sensor and 20MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7+f/1.7, EIS and 1.22μm pixel size.The camera also comes with AI portraits built-in AI Chip.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, Dual Band Wifi, Bluetooth 4.2 (Oppo R15), Bluetooth 5.0 (Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition), A-GPS, GLONASS, micro USB port, 3.5 mm audio port, and rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.Oppo R15 is fueled by 3450 mAh battery whereas Oppo R15 Dream Mirror Edition fueled by 3400 mAh battery and both the devices comes with support for VOOC flash charge tech.Both the devices run on Android 8.1 out of the box with ColorOS 5.0 on top.
