Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium

Sony is all set to launch a bunch of smartphones this year with series of leaks and rumours about the Sony Xperia XA2, XA2 Ultra and Sony Xperia L2 we also got few rumours and leaks about the premium lineup of Sony smartphones.

Now we have some new rumours about the flagship Sony smartphones which are rumoured to be powered by the SD845 SoC.As per new rumours tell that Sony might launch not two but three new smartphones at MWC 2018.Earlier we had some leaks of Sony mid-range devices which are expected to be announced in CES 2018 held this week.If Sony launches the new mid-range devices at CES then we can expect Sony to launch the other flagship three new devices at MWC 2018 held in next month.

The new set of devices include the flagship Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium, Sony Xperia XZ1 Plus and new Sony Xperia XZ1S which are the higher end devices from Sony.Probably the Sony Xperia XZ1S might be the cheapest among the three.Sony might not bring a lot of design changes with the flagship devices to apart from new fingerprint scanner placement which is now placed on the rear of the device.Sony Xperia XZ1S will sport 5.5 inches FHD display. It is powered by SD835 SoC with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.Sony Xperia XZ1S and Sony Xperia XZ1 Plus will have Dual camera setup with two 12MP sensors at the back whereas 13MP sensor at the front.

The next device is the Sony Xperia XZ1 Plus which is slightly higher priced than Sony Xperia XZ1S.Sony Xperia XZ1 Plus sports a larger 5.5 inches FHD display.As it is priced higher it is powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The most premium smartphone from Sony with Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium will feature 5.46 inches with a resolution of 2160*3840 HDR LCD display. It is powered by SD845 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.Similar to Sony Xperia XZ1S and Sony Xperia XZ1 Plus, the Sony Xperia XZ1 Premium too will have the same set of cameras with Dual 12MP sensors at the back and 13MP selfie camera.

All the three devices will be running on Android Oreo with Sony custom skin on top and are rumoured to be announced at MWC held in Feb.As of now, there are no details about the Sony Xperia XZ2 series which is rumoured to come with bezel-less display and all new Mirai design.
