Earlier we had leaks about the Made by Google program and now Google has officially announced the program in the US yesterday.It is nothing but similar to Apple Made for iPhone program where you will get Apple certified third-party accessories for iPhones and here we get Google certified Pixel accessories made by third-party accessory manufacturers.
With Pixel devices and other accessories launched yesterday Google also launched the Made by Google Program. As of now, there are just 26 partners selling certified Made by Google accessories in the US.Some of the third party certified accessories are already up for grabs on the Google Store. Made by Google products list include Screen guard, cases, USB Type-C data cables, Chargers, Power adapter, earbuds, lens kits, dongle and car chargers.This will help a lot to cut down the risk of using third-party accessory and facing compatibility issues.Hope Google might bring the same in other parts of the world soon.
