While Oppo is preparing to launch the K14x 5G in India next week, the company is also reportedly readying a new K-series lineup for its home market. According to fresh leaks, Oppo is working on the K14 Turbo series for China, which will replace last year’s K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro models introduced in July.

Launch timeline and models

Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that Oppo will unveil at least two devices under this lineup: the Oppo K14 Turbo and the Oppo K14 Turbo Pro. Both are said to be scheduled for a China launch sometime around April, positioning them as mid-year refreshes in Oppo’s performance-focused K-series.

Display sizes and cooling setup

The standard Oppo K14 Turbo is rumored to arrive with a 6.59-inch display, while the K14 Turbo Pro is expected to feature a larger 6.78-inch screen, catering to users who prefer more screen real estate for gaming and media.

A standout feature of the new series will reportedly be an integrated cooling fan, much like the current K13 Turbo models. This built-in active cooling system is designed to help sustain high performance during extended gaming sessions or heavy multitasking, reducing thermal throttling.

Chipset, memory, and storage

Digital Chat Station also suggests that the K14 Turbo lineup will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500s chipset. However, it is not yet clear whether both the K14 Turbo and K14 Turbo Pro will use this SoC, or if it will be reserved for just one of the two.

In terms of memory and storage, the series is tipped to offer configurations going up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, making the phones suitable for power users who juggle multiple apps or large game libraries.

Design, colors, and weight

Oppo is said to be planning multiple color options for the K14 Turbo series, including forged carbon, grey, pink, and white. The devices are expected to weigh around 201 grams, which is fairly typical for modern mid-range and upper mid-range smartphones, especially those featuring enhanced cooling hardware.

Successor to the K13 Turbo line

These upcoming models will succeed the Oppo K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro, which gained attention for their performance-centric features and active-cooling design. That series offered strong processing hardware paired with a built-in cooling fan, and Oppo appears to be doubling down on that formula with the K14 Turbo lineup.

As of now, full specifications, pricing, and availability details for regions outside China remain unknown. More concrete information should surface closer to the rumored April launch window.
