Amazon has introduced the new Echo Show 11 and the fourth-generation Echo Show 8 smart displays with Alexa in India, both built on the company’s Omnisense sensor platform. The devices feature updated audio hardware, edge-to-edge glass fronts with slim bezels, and are designed to work as both entertainment screens and smart home control hubs.

The Echo Show 11 comes with a 10.95-inch full HD display, while the Echo Show 8 offers an 8.7-inch HD screen. Each model includes a 13 MP camera with auto-framing and noise reduction for clearer video calls, as well as support for motion, presence, and temperature-based routines to automate smart home tasks.

Powered by Amazon’s AZ3 Pro processor with an AI Accelerator, both devices deliver spatial audio through a front-firing stereo setup with a 2.8-inch woofer and two full-range drivers. Users can stream from services such as Prime Video, Netflix, and YouTube, access music and podcasts, control compatible smart home devices, and view up to four live camera feeds at once via the Drop In feature.

Connectivity options include Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth, while the built-in smart home hub supports Zigbee, Matter, and Thread Border Router, removing the need for multiple separate hubs. Omnisense features like Visual ID, proximity and presence detection, temperature sensing, and adaptive brightness help the displays respond intelligently to their environment and to individual users.

Privacy tools include a wake-word system, controls for microphone and camera on/off, and options to review and delete voice recordings. The devices work with the Alexa app on Fire OS, Android, and iOS, and support both English and Hindi.

Pricing:

In India, the Echo Show 11 is priced at Rs. 26,999, and the Echo Show 8 at Rs. 23,999. Both are available in Graphite and Glacier White on Amazon.in, Flipkart, and at offline retailers such as Reliance Digital and Croma.
